CABLE SKIDDERS – GRAPPLE SKIDDERS – BOGIE SKIDDERS
A Skidder, the beasts of the forest, a heavy-duty forestry machine that normally pulls full-length trees, most times more than one at a time, to a landing to be processed by a forestry processor. Skidders are also used to pull or transport logs (trees cut to specific lengths) to a landing to be loaded onto a log truck.
