CABLE SKIDDERS – GRAPPLE SKIDDERS – BOGIE SKIDDERS
A Skidder, the beasts of the forest, a heavy-duty forestry machine that normally pulls full-length trees, most times more than one at a time, to a landing to be processed by a forestry processor. Skidders are also used to pull or transport logs (trees cut to specific lengths) to a landing to be loaded onto a log truck.

What Matters In Forestry
Making decisions about the machinery used in forestry is as important as the type of people we hire to form our teams. Both work together and as the saying goes, a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. We trust that MYLOGGERMAG's sections help forestry crew owners, dealers and end users of the equipment get the best out of their lives as loggers.
